LASER CUT STENCIL NAME

Laser cut stencil name is a thin sheet of cardboard or plastic which has a pattern or letters for the business name or logo cut out of it. This is then used to produce the cut design on the surface below by the application of ink or paint through the holes. They are often used for painting on walls, pavements, or any surface you want to print a design, pattern, or letters cut out from a stencil.

We created this laser cut stencil for Mernda Community Garden at Carome to mark their garden tools.

The Mernda Community Garden at Carome was established in 2010 and is located within the culturally significant and heritage listed Carome Homestead. Set in paddocks and perched above the Plenty River, the garden provides open space and views that recall the area’s rural past.

The garden consists of 30 member plots, 10 communal plots and an orchard of 40 fruit trees. Our members are all residents of the City of Whittlesea and enjoy coming together with like-minded people to learn, grow and socialise in a safe and welcoming environment.

They cultivate in an organic manner and employ many permaculture practices to ensure that they garden as mindfully as possible whilst still maintaining high yielding plots. They enforce a strict “no spray” policy to ensure that we act in an eco-friendly and sustainable fashion.

Everyone is welcome to attend our produce swaps which are held on the first Saturday of each month.

The Mernda Community Garden at Carome encompasses member plots, communal plots and a small orchard all tended to by volunteers.

Their organization is a perfect venue to be one with nature and yielding natural, and organic produce for healthier community. Not just that, it also helps build harmonious relationship among members of the community.
