Check out this laser cut leather skirt we created for design student Helena Stephan. Helena’s costume design and vision for the skirt was to make it as dramatic and daring as possible. The reason? Because it was being made for a runway show for Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival! How exciting is that?

Helena, who is a student at the Academy of Design, got her influence for the show from society’s fascination with the abnormal or strange and we can definitely see that inspiration in this skirt.
Laser cut fashion always adds an element of flair and intrigue, which might be why we love it so much. Helena paired the skirt we laser cut with complimentary black leather pieces – and a gorgeous set of wings! – that make the whole outfit look super edgy and exciting.
