It seems that sportswear is having a moment in fashion right now. Sports luxe is the way to go so this project came at a perfect time.
We recently worked with Australian sportswear designer Running Bare to help with laser cutting for one of their items. We used fabric printing and laser cutting for designing flowers on this women’s crop top.

Laser cutting gives any fashion item an edge factor. While flowers don’t seem that edgy, using laser cutting is a unique way to design and create clothing. This is particularly true for wholesale and commercial items. Often laser cut designs are restricted to the runway or couture fashion shows – like at the Christian Dior Spring Summer 2014 show. But it’s awesome that we’re starting to see laser cut products popping up in stores. If more everyday wear had laser cutting the world would be a better place!
We love working with designers and people with a creative flair to make something cool and innovative. It’s great when we get to laser cut for an item we hadn’t considered before – like a crop top! It means we get to experiment and grow while also creating something that stands out from the crowd.
