THIS ACRYLIC LASER CUTTING PROJECT IS TOO POWERFUL!
Here is some acrylic laser cutting work we did for year 12 student Katerina Tsaroumis.
Katerina said her theme was power and empowerment:
“I linked this to God as a higher power. The ball in the centre is a symbol of God. And then each triangle ( or window) is an alternate perspective on God. For example, there would be an atheist’s view or a family influence perspective. Each window is manipulated to alter what God looks like through the vantage points. The overall meaning is supposed to represent that although there are many pathways and perspectives of God, He is the same. The idea is that He doesn’t change in practicality but only in theory.”
This is such a creative concept. And quite wise words from someone still in high school. We’re so impressed by Katerina’s symbolism and maturity for this project. The overall finished product delivered her objective beautifully. Fantastic work Katerina! We wish you all the best.
